Feb 16, 2008 · Alright, I've been trying for days now to get my Xbox connected to my laptop, but every time I try to it says that it cannon find the IP address. I have my 360 hooked up to my laptop's port and I have internet access, so why won't it let me connect to the internet on my 360. Please, if I did anything wrong, or if I'm missing anything, please tell me because I would really like to hook up to my In fact you don't have to plug the USB into the 360s USB slot, you can plug it into anything USB because it's just for power. The audio is through the red and white cables, and still needs to be plugged into the controller for chat. Thank you for the clarification.. but it also works with the PC apparently.
